1. 💻 Digital Skills & IT Support

(Combined Course: Information & Communication Technology (ICT) / Computer Applications)

Duration Qualification Key Focus & Progression
3-6 Months Certificate in Computer Applications (CCA) Foundational Digital Literacy. Focuses on essential office productivity and basic computing skills for immediate entry into administrative roles.
2 Years Diploma in Information & Communication Technology (DICT) Advanced Systems & Management. Builds on the foundation to cover complex IT infrastructure, programming, and system maintenance.

What You’ll Learn in Detail:

  • CCA (3-6 Months): Core modules include Operating Systems (Windows, Android), Office Productivity Suites (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), basic hardware components, and Internet/Email proficiency.1 The goal is to master the tools required for efficient office work.

     

  • DICT (2 Years): The curriculum expands significantly to include:

    1. Computer Programming: Introduction to languages like C/C++ or Python.

    2. Networking & Data: Concepts of Data Communication, Network Administration, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) using tools like MS Access or SQL.

    3. System Analysis & Design (SAD): Learning to analyze business problems and design computational solutions.

    4. Web Technology: Basics of internet technology, HTML, and web page design.

    5. Entrepreneurship: Focus on IT business management and professional communication.

Requirements:

The following documents must be brought the day of admission.
Photocopies of:

  1. Primary School Leaving Certificate and Result slip/certificate
  2. Secondary School Result slip/certificate and Leaving Certificate, if any
  3. National ID if any /Birth Certificate.
  4. Four passport-sized photographs
  5. Duly signed copy of declaration in the code of conduct by the student and parent/guardian/ sponsor (a copy enclosed)

 

NOTE: The student must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the first day of admission.
